Rantoul Makers Market is Closing

Hi everyone,

After a wonderful year of Tuesday evenings, handmade goods, and getting to know so many of you, I’ve made the decision to close Rantoul Makers Market.

It’s not an easy choice, but it’s the right one for where I am right now. This market was always about connecting neighbors through creativity, and that’s exactly what happened. I watched makers find their footing, customers become regulars, and a real little community take shape at TK’s Wings. That mattered, and I’m proud of it.

My own creative work needs more of my time and energy right now, and I want to be honest about that rather than let this market run on empty. So I’m closing with gratitude instead of letting things fade quietly.

A few details:

• Our Discord server will remain open through July 26th for members to connect with each other, then it will close.

• To every vendor who set up a table, and every neighbor who stopped by: thank you. You made this what it was.

• TK’s Wings has always welcomed our vendors with open arms, and that hasn’t changed. If you’d like to reach out to them directly about setting up on your own, they’d love to hear from you -that would be an independent arrangement with TK’s, separate from Rantoul Makers Market.

Making art, meeting neighbors. I got to do that with you, and I’m grateful.
